१८व्या शतकाच्या सुरुवातीला जमिनीवर कोणाचीही सत्ता असो. खंदक आणि भिंतीच्या बंदोबस्ताआड असणाऱ्या व्यापारी वसाहतीवर कोणाचीही मालकी असो. पण कोंकणच्या पाण्यावर सत्ता कोणाची होती यात दुमत नव्हतं.सत्ता होती ती फक्त "कान्होजी आंग्रे" यांचीच.....
