आज ३१ ऑक्ट २०१३ म्हणजेच वसुबारस म्हणजेच आरमार दिन. आजच्याच दिवशी मराठा फौजांनी कल्याण आणि भिवंडी शहर जिंकले. भिवंडीला त्याकाळी आदिलशाहीत इस्लामाबाद म्हणत.कल्याण खाडी शेजारी महाराजांनी दुर्गाडीचा किल्ला बांधायला सुरुवात करून मराठा आरमाराचा पाया रचला.

Today is Vasubaras, Maratha Navy Day. On this day Maratha forces captured the cities of Kalyan and Bhiwandi(then known as Islamabad).
On the shores of Kalyan river, Maharaj laid the foundation of Durgadi fort, and thus began Maratha Navy - मराठा आरमार.
