Surf rider म्हणजे पाणी कापून जाण्याऐवजी लाटांवर स्वार होऊन जाणारा. यांचा आकार आणि वजन कमी असून, यांचा प्रमुख वापर छोटे मच्छीमार करत. तसेच हे बंदर-बोट म्हणून सुद्धा वापरत.
